We have a lovely one bedroom flat which will be available to rent from mid March.


Situated on Glengarry Road, the property is a short walk from East Dulwich Station and all the local delights of Lordship Lane. Also on the 37 bus route to Herne Hill and Brixton in one direction and Peckham in the other.


The property is a first floor Victorian conversion in good decorative order. The lounge is large enough to fit a dining table and chairs as well as a sofa.


We are seeking a long term and peaceful tenant. Rent ?1350 PCM plus deposit.

My name is Amy I and my partner Marie are currently looking for a nice 1 bed to rent that we can make home. My sister lives on Barry rd and we like the area very much. We both are hoping to be able to go direct via a landlady/landlord as we have had good experiences renting direct. I have just come across your ad on this site, which my sister Sophia recommended and am very interested. I work as a Sign Language Interpreter, mainly in education and my partner, Marie works as a Studio Manager.       Do you feel unsafe in London?

      I'm interested to know other people's experiences. As in any urban environment, I'm careful. I try not to use my phone outside  unnecessarily, and if I'm coming home by myself  late at night I also keep an eye out for any potential threats. But that doesn't mean  I "don't feel safe". It's just sensible. The only time I have ever felt seriously unsafe in London was decades ago  when I was a teenager, and that was one specific incident which could have happened anywhere. I do however try to avoid places with loads of right wing thugs getting drunk and waving flags.

      Thanks very much for that.   I think the better informed we are, the better our discussions will be.
