Don't miss out on the opportunity to snap up this light and spacious 2 double bedroom plus study Victorian conversion flat, spread out over the first floor of an elegant Victorian house and located on ever popular Barry Road in East Dulwich SE22 0JU.

Well presented throughout with bright white walls and tall ceilings with recessed spot lighting the flat is modern and stylish and benefits from a large reception room to the left as you enter which gets plenty of natural light and comes furnished with curtains, sofa, an armchair and a coffee table. Go into the eat-in kitchen, with its white floor and white splash-back tiles and you'll find another excellent social space with ample room for a kitchen table and chairs and furnished with a cooker with gas hob and extractor fan, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a fridge freezer and a microwave. The modern bathroom is stylishly presented with black and white checked tiles and contains an extractor fan, a heated towel rail and a shower mounted over the bath. The flat is centrally heated and also has a door answerphone system.

There are two doubles bedrooms and a single room which could be used as an office or an additional storage room, there is no bed. The first bedroom is a good sized double with plenty of storage space, the second double bedroom has plenty of room for wardrobes, drawers and storage.

Available now furnished, the flat would make a lovely home for a young family or a couple wanting an office and a spare room or for 2 professional sharers and early viewing is strongly recommended.

    • Thanks very much for that.   I think the better informed we are, the better our discussions will be. The article contained: "That arrest had quite an impact on the [phone theft] numbers for the following month,” said Green.  Here's another indicator, admittedly a piece of police PR,  of how well-targeted police efforts, some of it invisible to us,  can when successful  seriously affect offending figures: https://news.met.police.uk/news/met-police-drive-down-theft-and-robbery-by-84-percent-in-battersea-and-nine-elms-500495.
    • Another excellent article from Jim Waterson's London Centric reporting https://www.londoncentric.media/p/kitchen-foil-and-algerian-markets?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email Interesting that there seem to be favoured and repeated routes for phone snatching for particular thieves.  Seems ED might be one of them ☹️
    • Anywhere near the Overground/Windrush due to its excellent transport links.  You will get larger place in SE23 for example that will give you enough spare cash for private school if that's what you really want but states schools generally good, reflecting the demographic  Easy to get to the bustling streets of East Dulwich but in ten years see what happens to Forest Hill centre.  The whole of the area is full of green spaces. Access to East Croydon for days out in the South Coast
    • Could East Dulwich or Forest Hill work? Some properties on Underhill Road and Wood Vale have large gardens e.g.  https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/161079866#/?channel=RES_BUY  You'd be close to the Horniman, Dulwich Park and Peckham Rye. Transport might not be what you're looking for though e.g. a 15 minute walk to Forest Hill station for the East London line or mainline into London Bridge.
