UPDATE: Our "visitor" Jaxx is back with his owners!!! They called earlier today with photos and description, and collected him a minute ago. Delighted he's home safely.

East Dulwich Forum - You rule!

----------------------

We've had a cat visit our back door for the past 4 days and it stays for hours outside. Can't tell if it's male or female but it's VERY vocal.

It's silver grey with a white face. It's friendly but doesn't stand still long enough for us to feel for a microchip.

We are on Lordship Lane.

Is this your cat? We'll give it a few days and then Take it to the vets to get scanned.

Hi Singalto

I don't want to feed it if it's already got a home. We lost one of ours to an irresponsible neighbour a few years back in exactly the same way. It seems very clean and looked after and only shows up in the evening which makes me think it's owned. Just odd it hangs around outside for so long.

I'll give it a day or so then take it to get scanned.

    • Purse with cash and cards (including photo card) found in road local to East Dulwich Tabernacle. It will be here (107 Barry Road) all day (Sunday 21 December) if you want to collect or PM me.  In case some one else who knows R Howard, please alert her.    Thank you
    • Thanks Sue.  No the car just drove on.  We don't know if they noticed.  We were driving behind.  We were just glad we could be with the cat, and take him to the vet, rather than leaving him there 😞
    • Certainly the infamous (and mythical) SE London cat killer turned out to be foxes attacking dying and dead cats injured by cars, but fox: cat encounters do appear to happen, even where cats are victorious. Fox: adult humans less so. At least where foxes are the aggressors.
    • That was very kind of you to take the cat to the vet. Did the car not stop?
