Buggies needed for struggling parents

Hello

I am part of the team running the BabyBank in Camberwell and we give second hand items away to local parents who are struggling to meet the costs of having a baby or young child. Many of the families who use the BabyBank are destitute and are referred by health visitors/midwives.

We currently have several mums waiting for a buggy suitable for new borns or toddlers. Can you help?

You can drop them at our base in Camberwell on Tues/Wed/Fri mornings or Wed evening. Please see the poster attached for more information!

Love this idea! Well done guys. Much needed. I was a single parent for a long time when I had my two, now they have children and one of them is a single parent. I will see what help I can provide. X

I don't have a pram to offer but I do have lots of clothes and odd bits but I don't have a way to reaching you, is there anyway of a collection service?

Would love to see go to people who need it as been there myself

Can't collect am afraid but you can drop off 3 mornings a week of Wed early evening. Its just near Camberwell Library/Court.

Hi Kate, no buggy but I do have a cot bed to donate, well used & some screws missing (could be replaced) but still plenty of life left in it, would you like it? If so, Yummy Mummy01 if you're in ED I could drop your stuff off at the same time.

Sounds great and thanks for offering to take other stuff too! The poster attached says the times you can drop off and you don't need to ring ahead...just turn up! THANK YOU....your support is making a difference to local parents in need!
