Looking for something for my daughter to attend on a Friday while her bro is at school. She is 2 1/2 and very chatty. I think she would like gym or ballet or maybe something musical. She has done Diddidance, Tiny Gym and Little Bubbles in the past and loved them all for a while then interest waned so maybe something a bit less "circle-time-ish?"

I would really appreciate your suggestions - thanks

Hi there

I'm Emma from Piplings Playgroup in Forest Hill - just a few minutes behind the Horniman Museum. It is a drop off and collect session which includes an art activity and music and movement. The playroom is lovely and the outdoor space is great.Come up the hill to visit or book a session.Would love to meet you both.

Thank you for your reply pipling and wish you the best for your venture but not really what I am after; we have a full time nanny and my daughter also goes to a nursery 3 mornings, it was really a structured class which teaches a specific activity that I was hoping for. There seem to be a lot of local mums that dont work on Fridays so I was presuming this would be a busy day for such things...

There is Whippersnappers in Dulwich Park on Friday mornings which my 2 1/2 year old loved. Then there is also ballet at St. Faiths in Herne Hill on Fridays, but the class is in the afternoon. This is organised through the Dulwich Ballet School.

Hope this helps.

    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
