I have just been chatted up on the phone by a lovely man from talk talk. He has promised me the earth for ?27.98 per month, phone ( all day), broadband and 70 tv channels on demand- all because I am an existing tiscali customer. Somewhere I remember someone telling me talk talk were a terrible provider- but it sounded great- am I missing something? Can anyone recommend them? ( before I sign my life away).

    • In all honesty they should open up a pub for the students to really rile them up
    • As I understand it, Poundland itself  has been saved (and is reassessing what it sells and its pricing strategy) but nevertheless is getting rid of a quite a few stores, including the ED one. There was a thread on here about it before it opened, and Lordship Lane always seemed to be a very odd choice of location for what used to be called a "pound shop".
    • But without knowing why they were removed, I don't see how we can comment. Does anybody know the reason?  I thought Malumbu's post was useful information, given the subject matter of this thread  I didn't think it was patronising.
    • Milo came home briefly last night but was unsettled and incredibly wary of us. We know he's be staying at other people's homes on and off over the summer, and this is very unsettling to him. If he's coming to yours for food or inviting himself in for the night, please turn him away or put him back out. He has a home, he is loved, and he is well looked after when he is here. He probably goes elsewhere as he not a huge fan of his medications or diet, but he has those for a reason. If he's not here, we can't make sure he stays well or be sure he's safe.
