FoggyNelson
Hi - I'm curious what's standard as regards paying childminders for their time off - we've been asked to sign a contract where we pay the childminder for 4 weeks holiday during the year. Is this standard? (I always thought one of the advantages of a childminder over a nanny was you didn't have to pay for holidays etc).Thanks. sunnyames
We have this with our childminder although we pay her half rates for her holiday. We can also take 4 weeks for holiday where we pay half rates too. Not sure what other childminders do though.
