Alasdair Roberts has appeared at the Goose on many occasions, and we are delighted to be welcoming him back, this time as part of the brilliant Furrow Collective with Lucy Farrell, Rachel Newton and Emily Portman.

Expect dark, quirky ballads and spine-tingling harmonies, with a sparse and compelling new take on traditional songs!

Support acts tonight are Loreley and Storywheel

Loreley are an exciting young folk duo from Reading who play a blend of traditional folk lyrics and new music composed by themselves.

Storywheel are an acoustic oud (Arab lute) duo playing a mix of traditional folk and songs they have written, with influences from North Africa and the Middle East.

    • I'd try the Dulwich Village or "North Dulwich Triangle" forums for more local knowledge but I don't think those areas compare to Abeville Road at all. It will be quite a different lifestyle.
    • Yes, Dulwich Village commands a premium and justifiably so given access to the City via London Bridge plus the top rate schools within walking distance.  The bus services are really good also - 37, 42 and P4. The P4 is useful for connecting to the Victoria line at Brixton. It's worthwhile waiting for the right property. I know of one which will be coming on the market in a few weeks - 4 bedrooms and south facing garden circa £2.5m.
    • This is an utterly foolish and alarmist statement, completely at odds with reality.
    • I realise this is highly unlikely, but if anyone has a colour laser printer in very good working order, I'd be delighted to take it off your hands!
