Vintage or nice car needed for small wedding September 10th!

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone here knew of someone with a lovely vintage (1950s through to 1980's) car for a wedding in East Dulwich/ Peckham September 10th? The wedding is at Southwark registry office in Camberwell with a reception above the EDT afterwards, so I'd only need something for 2 hours maybe 2 and a half at the most!

I've asked regular wedding car hires for quotes and I'm getting nothing less than ?500. It's such a short journey (but a meaningful one!) and I'm willing to pay. If you know of anyone that would like to earn some extra cash on my special day, please let me know.

Thanks for any suggestions!

We used weddingtaxis.co.uk , got an older style black cab for ?280 for 3 hrs, we used from forest hill to Dulwich college and then to the EDT (cracking reception venue!), they arrived early, very friendly and happy to take any route we wanted.

Have a great day whatever you choose!

    • Vapes aren't big yet - most people still get their Chinese B&H Gold from one of the 'barbers'. The theme park isn't a bad idea - Torbay are using their cash for an 'Agatha Christie Trail' - so it's not so far-fetched.   'One-eyed Cop Killer' Dale Cregan and, most chillingly of all, Simply Red's Mick Hucknall are also from the neck of the woods. Would you believe Hucknall's dad was an actual barber? Brian & Michael (Matchstalk Men & Matchstalk Cats & Dogs) lived at the top of my road, and were abetted by The St.Winifred's School Choir on that aberration. They, of course graduated to the unforgivable 'Theres No-one Quite Like Grandma'. A truly terrifying place.
