Looking for a part time nanny in Peckham Rye/East Dulwich

Recommended Posts

We are two families in Peckham Rye looking for a part time nanny for a nanny share arrangement on Mondays (8-6pm) and Thursdays (8-6). This would be primarily based at one of our homes between East Dulwich and Peckham Rye stations, with trips to local activities like the park, playground, library and local toddler groups.

We'd like to have someone who's happy to prepare some simple, healthy, home-cooked meals, organise stimulating and fun activities, and, most of all, provide a loving and caring environment for the children.

The role would involve the following:

On Mondays, 8-2pm, the nanny would look after Nina, 2 years old, at Nina's family's home. They would then do a nursery pickup nearby at 4pm, collecting Alec (4) and Leo (nearly 3), and taking them back to their house. The boys' mum will leave something out for their dinner, but it may need a bit of prep before collecting them, so the hours would be 3.30-6pm.

On Thursdays, 8-6pm, the nanny would look after Leo and Nina all day and would drop Alec at the nearby nursery at 9am, picking him up at 4pm (taking Nina and Leo with them in a double buggy). The nanny would then look after all three little ones for the final two hours of the day.

The salary would be ?12/hour gross for the nanny share hours and ?10/hour gross for sole charge hours. We would take care of tax, NI and holiday pay.

Please do get in touch and let me know if you'd like to discuss further.

    • Another vote for The Cheese Block on LL but for 20 adults, you'd better be willing to pay a fair chunk of money or hope that they'll be happy with very small amounts of cheese! Other than that, supermarket or search online for a large Christmas cheese hamper and take your pick. For example: https://www.finecheese.co.uk/collections/christmas-selections-hampers (only mentioning them as we had a gift hamper, much smaller than a big Christmas one, from them a while ago and it was very nice). I'm sure there are other excellent options.

    • Buy it from the supermarket. Cut in it into wedges. Wrap neatly in greaseproof paper. No one will no any different.
