Female Business owners wanted for local voluntary project to inspire girls

Hi Daisylets is supporting the local voluntary Think BIG project, to inspire young women and girls into creating their own work and running their own businesses. Local female business owners give talks to girls in schools on their own path to business, which can be very varied and point out the transferable skills gained from school and earlier jobs.

We aim to not only inspire girls but create peace of mind in the knowledge that the choices they make now may not set the course for the rest of their life, it's just the start of their journey!

If you are a local female business owner having been running your own business for more than a year and would like to volunteer to get involved in a future event, or provide inspiration on the website, please fill out the sign up form on the website.www.thinkbigproject.uk @inspirethinkbig

If you have contacts in a local school or community group and you think they would be interested in collaborating to provide a free event for their organisation, please pass on this information and/or get in touch:

Thanks everyone, we are looking to inspire the girls in all local schools, showing them real local, relatable, businesses and the stories behind the women who run them. We were very excited to hold the first event at Elmgreen School in Tulse Hill at the start of the month - it went brilliantly - 11 speakers for 6th formers/year 13 girls and we'd all like to do it again, but need help in linking up with local secondary schools & community groups.

Thanks for your help :o)
