has anyone got any experience of or recomendation for piplings playgroup? or even any general advice apreciated. My daughter will be 2 in a few weeks time and i think she would benefit from more social enviroments. we do lots of playdates, one o clock clubs and the children centres are great, but... I am always there - along with my 8mth old who is becoming more demanding and wants her own mummy-entertainment-show! I think my toddler would benefit from a "stepping stone" towards nursery. However we intend to move away from ED in the next couple of months (I know! I need to but I SO don't want to) so I don't want to start nursery and then pull her out. Piplings sounds like a good temporary solution. What do you all think please?

Hi there

I noticed your post this morning re:Piplings.Would you like to come up the hill to meet me one morning or afternoon? Then you can see the playroom for yourself and ask me any questions.Piplings will become much busier at about the time you are leaving as we will be a registered nursery offering full time places.Until then just small and short playgroup sessions will run.It sounds like it would really suit you as there is no committment. There is a post from a mum whose little girl comes here - perhaps you would like to send her a message for her opinions - HayleyW.

Hope to meet you soon

Emma at Piplings

    • if anyone believes Reform is a party they can trust then they really don't need to be insulted by me - they are doing all the damage themselves If people don't like the state the country is in they should question why Farage fought for Brexit and why it continues to damage the country so much. He and you will splutter it wasn't done properly but if you can't see the contradictions I can't help you
    • It's not incredibly difficult to understand that people vote Reform because they don't want the Tories back and they don't like Labour and they don't like the state the country is in. It hardly makes them "criminally negligent" - in fact, Sepiroth,  you can just stop insulting people just because you don't like what they have to say - it doesn't really add to your credibility. While Sep says "What the country needs is a serious, mature electorate", what the country REALLY needs is a party that we can trust - and that we do not have.  There is no point at all in having a serious and mature electorate if we don't have a serious and mature party to get vote for.
    • mine's the same - use shears, then mow, but I only do a part of the lawn - the rest is covered in daisies, violets and other flowers, so I leave it. I have to be very careful though - we have slow worms
    • I'm watching a neighbours lawn where the grass is hourly increasing in height .Wondering how on earth they are going to tackle cutting it .
