32-40 months old junior scientists are needed for a pilot study

Recommended Posts

Dear Parents

I am writing to invite 32-40 months old junior scientists for a pilot study. I am a Ph.D. student at the Institute of Psychiatry Psychology and Neuroscience, King's Collage London at Denmark Hill and the research team I am working with (http://www.kcl.ac.uk/ioppn/depts/psychology/research/ResearchGroupings/Autism-and-Development-Team.aspx) is running a study to learn about different aspects of cognitive development in children who are at risk for autism. But before go on to this project we need to develop tools with children who are typically developing and do not have a family risk of a developmental disorder, which we can use in later studies.

The session for this pilot study would be run from the Denmark Hill campus of King's College (SE5 8AF). We could either run a short (1-2 hours) or extended session (3-4 hours), depending on what suits you best. It would mostly be a play-based session, perhaps with some eyetracking (it is basically watching some cartoons on a Tv) as well, depending on time.

If you're interested and could spare a few hours sometime in April (week days or weekends) please let me know and we can arrange a convenient date.

You can e-mail me on [email protected] or call me on 07444456474.

Your participation is important and valuable for our study,

Many thanks and best wishes,

Mutluhan Ersoy
