Hi Betty,

Is the room still available? I need to move out of my place at the end of July and live just around the corner... up oglander road. Can you please PM me if it is free and I could pop round for a visit.

Thanks,

Kate

Hi Betty

I'm v interested in the room. What is the rent? Do you have any photos? Below, please find a summary of me. I've also attached 2 images. I am moving out of a flat on Barry Road on 31st July and your ad sounds great. I've attached 2 photos of me and below I've copied/pasted my spareroom.com description. If you're interested, I'd love to view, as soon as works for your diary.

"I?m a 34 year old, friendly, down to earth and considerate Irish professional chap. I?ve been in London since March 2014, having previously been in houseshares in Manchester, Aberdeen and Belfast, where I made some great friends and always got on well with my flatmates. I?m a genuine, sociable, respectful and tidy guy.

I am a commercial property surveyor, working near Bond St station. In terms of interests, I?m into movies, music, random adventures, discovering all that London has to offer, a bit of cooking, keeping fit and socialising with friends.

I'm looking for a friendly professional flatshare, with easygoing, likeminded flatmates, enjoying having a flat where we can all feel at home."

thanks a lot in the meantime

Eugene

    • We had one that projected stars and played lullabies. It was a soft toy bee with a hard plastic back. I know we used it but can’t recall how effective it was.  What was brilliant was the Lulla sleep doll which has a heart beat sound. That was a critical sleep aid for the first couple of years.
    • Hmmm, millions of animals are killed each year to eat in this country.  10,000 animals (maybe many more) reared to be eaten by exotic pets, dissected by students, experimented on by cosmetic and medical companies.  Why is this any different? Unless you have a vegan lifestyle most of us aren't in a position to judge.  I've not eaten meat for years, try not to buy leather and other animal products as much as possible but don't read every label, and have to live with the fact that for every female chick bred to (unaturally) lay eggs for me to eat, there will be male that is likely top be slaughtered, ditto for the cow/milk machines - again unnatural. I wasn't aware that there was this sort of market, but there must be a demand for it and doubt if it is breaking any sort of law. Happy to be proved wrong on anything and everything.
