Landlords accepting a newborn and parents as tenants please!

Dear East Dulwich Forum friends.

My husband and I are expecting to become parents around the 27th of November, and we are looking for a short term flat to rent.

We are shock but our interest in flats keeps being declined because of having a baby.

Apparently, soundproof in houses seems to be the issue.

Does anyone know what we should do or where we should go?

If anyone has a flat - for a short term until around April please, would you let us know if you are interested?

It has been pretty harsh to be rejected under this circumstances.

This is terrible and as an expectant mum as well you have my sympathies. Perhaps you should play the game as well, trust your other half to do the leg work and viewings with agencies and just sign up on the dotted line. It shouldn't be a landlord's concern or any of their business what your family situation is.

I prefer not to hide my pregnancy to any landlord, but instead find a good person to pay my rent to each month.
