We are looking for a caring, kind and experienced nanny to do school pick ups in term time and full days in the school holidays and we are happy to pay pro rata to even out the salary.

We live in Herne Hill and the schools are within walking distance in Dulwich village.

We have a 9 year old boy and a 6 year old girl.

During term time they would need help with homework, their dinner made, taking to the odd after school club and perhaps some play dates arranged - the hours would be 3.25pm-7pm. (approx 18 hours per week)

During the holidays hours would be 8.30am-6.30pm.(50 hours per week).

There are 13 weeks of school holidays in the year so it averages out at 26 hours of work per week and we are happy to pay this pro rata if preferred.

There would also be babysitting work on offer to boost the hours.

We ideally need someone to start mid-March and the salary would be competitive and dependant on experience.

Please get in touch and forward a CV to [email protected] if this is of interest and I can provide more details.

    • Did you eat the chicken from the first two purchases?  Did they smell before going into the oven? I’d definitely speak to the shop and also speak to Environmental Health at Lambeth - I think that is the borough that butcher is in. Hopefully ArchieCarlos will do the same.
    • Something doesn't quite smell right here and probably it's not  the chicken. Both the OP and TheWeekEnd specifically mention  chicken thigh fillets. TWE purchased £14 worth of chicken thigh fillets and they were thrown away "probably for the third time". £14 equates to around 12 fillets which is a lot. Could some have been frozen after purchase and then thawed? And thawed properly before cooking? TWE has a total of 4 posts of which 3 are on this thread.
    • Thanks to all for the advice, very glad to have this community for these enquiries. Here is how it got resolved in case its useful for anyone in the future: I had ordered some garden waste bags, and when the Veolia person came around I just asked them, and they were more than happy to take it no questions asked. 🙂
    • I keep seeing a thread 'missing cat', but you've been found.  Not sure if all would consider that a good thing.  Not a lot new happening ....  When you back in Blighty?
