Goose Green School - Wizard of Oz

Dear all,

Goose Green primary school years 3 and 4 are staging their best ever (so they say!) production this week. It is the Wizard of Oz complete with a smoke machine (music teacher is v.impressed with this) an Oscar worthy performance from our Dorothy and tunes a plenty, what is not to love?

Because it is going to be so brilliant we really would like to fill every seat and so the PTA have been asked to advertise it to the wider ED community. the evening performances are very popular but there are some spaces left for the daytime performances; Tuesday 2pm and Thursday 9.30am.

For those parents of younger children looking to go on school tours and the like this may be a great way of seeing the school in action. Tickets are ?2 adults and 50p for children and can be purchased from the school office on Tintagel Crescent.

Yes, as the Head said today in assembly, this is no ordinary school play!

Really looking forward to seeing the 1st performance today at 2pm - great songs, costumes and props (designed by the art teacher and made by the art club kids!)
