Childcare/Nursery receipts

Just wanted to ask if anyone out there receives receipts or payment acknowledgements from their nursery when you pay your fees?

I've asked mine on a few occasions for this, but they have avoided it.

Wondering what the standard is.

We don't. Only get told when they want more money from us.

Yes, monthly - with highlights of any overpayment/underpayment (2 kids, 2 different childcare voucher and 2 different monthly payments means I often get it wrong). When I have overpaid they have offered to refund it by cheque or carry it over to the next month.

I get an invoice at the start of each term, but no receipt for payments. But then, I have never asked for one.
