do NOT use fourway pharmacy for baby passport pictures

Recommended Posts

A warning to all mums!

I took my 4 month old son for his passport pictures at the fourway pharmacy in Herne hill.

The pharmacist was dangling a large set of keys over his head (1.5 high) and he dropped them on his head!!!

My poor little boy! I m now at the doctors for him to be checked out!

Before I took him there I phoned and they told me they have a lot of experience in taking baby pictures.

Clearly not if they are choosing to dangle keys over a baby s head!!!!!!

So very upset and worried!

If you are after passport pictures my suggestion would be to look elsewhere!

hi Lindsey,

I did reply to the thread i misplaced on the for sale/offered section.

He seems irritable but hey it could be coincidence! He has got bruising on his face (forehead, nose, eye) poor baby :(

I just hope that is all, bruising will go I suppose. Doctor told me to look out for any odd behaviour and if I am still worried take him down to the a&e for an xray.

I know my message perhaps came across a bit harsh but it was so upsetting and still is seeing his little face like this.

    • We had one that projected stars and played lullabies. It was a soft toy bee with a hard plastic back. I know we used it but can’t recall how effective it was.  What was brilliant was the Lulla sleep doll which has a heart beat sound. That was a critical sleep aid for the first couple of years.
    • Hmmm, millions of animals are killed each year to eat in this country.  10,000 animals (maybe many more) reared to be eaten by exotic pets, dissected by students, experimented on by cosmetic and medical companies.  Why is this any different? Unless you have a vegan lifestyle most of us aren't in a position to judge.  I've not eaten meat for years, try not to buy leather and other animal products as much as possible but don't read every label, and have to live with the fact that for every female chick bred to (unaturally) lay eggs for me to eat, there will be male that is likely top be slaughtered, ditto for the cow/milk machines - again unnatural. I wasn't aware that there was this sort of market, but there must be a demand for it and doubt if it is breaking any sort of law. Happy to be proved wrong on anything and everything.
