scrap metal dealer wanted for old car

We're trying to sell our old AUDI A6 ESTATE which has no MOT,tax or insurance any more, and are trying to find reliable local scap metal merchants to compare prices with offers we've had from individuals. Has anyone sold their car for scrap recently?

AUDI A6 ESTATE (P reg) 2.6 5dr1996 Colour: Grey Transmission Manual Engine Size: 2600cc First Registered: 01/08/1996

Front of car and radiator were damaged when handbrake was left off and it rolled into a low wall- images attached.

It still drove after that but radiator would need repairing. We have left it standing on drive since then and have not renewed insurance or MOT as we were planning to get a smaller car anyway.

do you have their number? I've called several local ones today but most are either no answering or the number is unobtainable. I had better luck with the national ones, but thought a local firm may give a better price...
