Antique/Collectable dealers/shops

We are trying to sell off some pieces (China, silver, telescope etc.)from deceased relatives homes. Roseberry's Auction House have taken several pieces for auction but have rejected the rest as insufficient amount to make up a lot. Telescope has not got a maker's name on it so they could not accept that. We are seeking a reputable dealer/shop who would give us a reasonable price. We would prefer not to have the silver melted down. I do have a name for a silver dealer, but not for a general dealer.

Suggestions welcome. There are a few good jewellery shops which take '2nd hand silver' - the nearest I think is Sydenham.
