Hi. My 84 yo father has just moved to ED. Is there any info on local activities/clubs he might get involved in? He was very active in his Men's Shed in Ireland and will try the ones in Peckham and Penge but if folk know of anything similar or just fun activities for older folk please let me know.

He's reasonably active, a bit forgetful and very sociable/good company. ex engineer.

What part of ED does he live?. Places like the Copestone Centre and Goose Green centre seem to have various activities.

My MIL is with a pension club, they go on walks, do gardening stuff, day trips etc.
It's based on stanstead road.

Hi Longfield Hall is a bus ride from East Dulwich but we offer a range of free fitness activities for older people plus a Thursday morning free singing group. See the timetable on our website at www.longfieldhall.org.uk
The Remakery round the corner also has current funding of mens DIY activities.
