I would also like to highly recommend Norwood Roofing.  David responded really quickly to my message and came out to see me the same day. I had multiple damp patches and David diagnosed the problems with the roof and the scaffolding was up and work completed within a week.   He and Patrick also found some additional problems with the loft which they fixed and didn't charge extra for which I really appreciate.

I'm very happy with their work and have no hesitation in recommending Norwood Roofing.

 

Dave responded really quickly to a request for help with a leaking gutter/downpipe.  He also re-did the flat roof on our loft conversion for us a few years back and we've had no problems with it since.  He is very professional and I would have no hesitation in recommending Norwood Roofing.

David did a great remedial job on the roof for me a couple of years ago after a dodgy roofer left a lot of problems. Today I called him because there were two loose slabs of wood on the roof, which it turned out had been left by scaffolders a few months ago. He noticed some very poor pointing and was able to repoint immediately (without scaffolding), which was very handy. Do call David if you need any roofing work done as he responds quickly and is reliable.  

David and team have just fixed a parapet wall on our roof that was cracked and was causing damp at the top of the house. Very pleased with the work which was done promptly. Would recommend. 

Fantastic job just completed by David & team. Stopped by on the day I contacted him and had to job completed within the timeframe we discussed. Very reasonable quote compared to experiences friends in the area have had with other operators. Would highly recommend. 

David was quick to reply to the initial enquiry regarding a leak in the roof.  Helpful to arrange a suitable date in which the work could take place. The roof was resurfaced.  Really pleased with work done. Prompt payment required. Highly recommend.

I can confirm that David and his team are very much still working!  They were at my place today carrying out extensive works to the roof of my first floor bay window and guttering to make it all water tight (water had started pouring into my sitting room each time it rained).  I have used David on many occasions in the past to fix problems in various different parts of my main roof and he has always resolved them for me, so I had no hesitation in asking him to sort out the bay this time.  He is experienced and knowledgeable and I know he will always do a thorough job. Highly recommended.

I've texted David's number few days ago, provided on this forum, but didn't get any reply. Just wonder - if he is still working as a roofer? 

Just used David and Patrick for a flat roof repair. They were friendly and helpful and able to do the job within a week of me getting a quote. David provided photos of before and a video and photos after to show what they had done. David also arranged for the scaffolding to only be up for a couple of days. Will definitely use his company again for any future problems. 

We used David for repairs to a front bay window as well as guttering on the bay and on roof. He was very helpful and timely beforehand and then punctual, helpful and hardworking on the day. All work carried out to a high standard, to the spec and we have had no problems since. Will definitely  use again. 

Happily and heartily recommend David and Norwood roofers. He got right back to us and the problem with the roof was sorted quickly and professionally. Brilliant service!

Speedy response to initial message (Friday) to Norwood Roofing Specialists and job done (full flat roof replacement) in the equivalent of less than two full working days (bit of Tuesday, most of Wednesday, bit of Thursday), including scaffolding being put up and taken down. No fuss or mess, photos of before and after and explanations given about courses of action, etc. Lots of recommendations already that I gladly add to.

I have no hesitation again in recommending Norwood Roofing Specialists. Guttering again blocked (surrounded by trees so to be expected) and during the recent torrential rain, water splashing down the side of my house. I left a message for David today for his next availability, he called back well within an hour and I was lucky enough that he was in the area and with me within 15 mins. That is service in itself.

He quickly established the problem and sorted it. He even sorted out blockages in other guttering about which I was unaware. We then discussed improving the layout of my guttering to minimise any future blockages and instantly he wanted to do the work in case of rain over the weekend. All done quickly and now looks far better & solid. Very reasonably priced as always. David is courteous, professional & goes over and beyond: I would not use anyone else. I have used David and his team several times (I got his name from this Forum originally) for roof repairs over the last few years, so when there was some severe water penetration recently through a part of my roof he had not worked on before, I didn’t hesitate to contact him. He always responds quickly, is very reliable, and gives 10 year guarantees for his work, but the main thing is that I know I can trust him not to over-quote ie that he will only recommend doing works which are necessary to solve whatever the problem is. This is very important to me as it’s not as if I know anything about roofing, nor am I ever going to be climbing up there myself ! The scaffolders he uses are efficient and polite too. Long may David continue to work in the East Dulwich area!

David is fantastic - he calls back and comes round so quickly, is full of knowledge, works at speed. He fixed a leaking chimney stack last year which we have not had a problem with since. This time, a much smaller issue, a hole made by squirrels. Three hours after calling him, all fixed.

Yet again David has come around at short notice to sort out a guttering problem and give advice on issues with a parapet that needs attention. Always timely, thorough and professional. Like so many others: highly recommended!

Another shout out for David. He has helped us over the years and has always been highly professional and reliable. The recent storm had caused us to lose a slate tile. I emailed David yesterday and got the usual quick response and he came across today and fixed it. That?s what I call service! Highly recommended if you have any problems with your roof.

I completely agree with all of the positive reviews above for David at Norwood Roofing. He and his team are prompt, knowledgable, responsive, friendly, professional and do a very good job at a fair price. They also organised the scaffolding for the job, and seem to have a very tight, good team around them for all aspects of the job. From first visit to quote to completion of our roof job, he and his team were fast and fantastic. I highly recommend them and would not hesitate to contact them if we need help again.
