Local artist Joe Thomas will be sketching his super popular fast portraits outside the Jane Newbery gallery in Dulwich Village on Saturday and Sunday.
Taking 5-10 minutes, Joe’s colourful and dynamic portraits cost from £25, make superb gifts and are great for families and couples.
Fascinating to watch, sittings are done on a first-come-first-drawn basis.

This sewing workshop is aimed at adults who want to learn to sew and learn to use their sewing machine confidently. This is an introductory workshop, perfect for beginners. Participants will learn how to thread the machine, change needles and sewing feet, understand the various parts of the sewing machine and demystify how a machine operates. You will also learn how to look after your machine. As a bonus, you will learn to sew a pencil case. All fabrics needed to practise and make the pencil case are provided. Basic sewing tools will be available to share & use. The workshops are all designed equip you with all the necessary skills and help you tackle your sewing projects. This is a perfect workshop if you want to do with your friend. Why not gift it as a thoughtful Christmas present?
