It’s cold and dark out there – join Story Jam’s Alys Torrance for a candlelit story upstairs in a cosy pub. Slip out of the everyday! Drop by for a sweet hour and a half (including an interval), then mooch home for a good night’s sleep. Or maybe slide on downstairs to the pub for a while longer.
December's story is a magical adventure for anyone who just needs a sit down and a rest, for heaven's sake! Alys tells a tale of an old king who drags his throne to the eastern-most window of his eastern-most room and sits looking East, with one eye crying and one eye laughing. Who has the courage to find out what is going on? A talking horse, a wild ride, and a meeting with a creaky old warrior are only the start. There will be terrible danger, (very) stuffed fruit, and diamonds in the soles of somebody's shoes... A perfect winter's night wonder tale.
