Does anyone have a spare licensed version of one or both of the above, compatible with Windows Vista? I need to create pdfs rather than just read them.
Or does anyone know of a trusted site where they can be downloaded. Adobe don't support Vista anymore.

Use "Cute PDF". It's free. Install it and then use it like a printer (same as the Adobe one). Instead of printing, it creates a PDF for you.

If you have MS Word, you can just save in PDF format.

Loz, thanks very much, that did the job perfectly.

Jeremy, I was looking to create pdfs from CAD drawings, but a useful tip, thanks.

I found a simple photo editor in Windows Photo Gallery in lieu of Photoshop.
