Recommended financial/pension adviser?

I'm looking for someone to provide one-off financial advice (could lead to more). Nothing complicated, but I would prefer to get a personal recommendation from someone on this list. I see similar queries raised, but one had no replies and the other had only one recommendation, and that guy is now on holiday until January. Doesn't need to be strictly local.
