  1. In favour of CPZ in Frogley Road. Would rather pay to guarantee parking, whereas at the moment consistently park 4/5 roads away. Also happy to pay for guest passes.
  2. It's all relative isn't it? If you lower yours down by ?100k then the one you buy should be lowered by ?100k. Nobody loses and you are saddled with less debt.
  3. Coppers do the best Sunday roast.
  4. Hi, I use Luca - he is great. Give him a call on 07708 378 150 Tell him I recommended him.
  5. Have used the Spin Doctor a few times for washing machine and he's always been great and honest.
  6. Think they may be changing it to Badgers Bakery
  7. Had a fantastic coffee at Badger Bakery by Dulwich Library. It's under new management and has had a total refurb and extension.
  8. Iain Glen is often at Dulwich Tennis club so must be a local. Hope his arms heals.
  9. Tickets to sell at cost price. UEFA will send tickets in May. Sun 12 June - 15:00 x4 ?120 each Paris - Parc des Princes Turkey vs. Croatia Wed 15 June - 18:00 x4 ?120 each Paris - Parc des Princes Romania vs. Switzerland
  10. My wife was at the Adventure Playground the other day with her nephews. She got talking with some other parents of some of the kids, and apparently the council are planning on closing the playground! And not just this one, possibly all the other Adventure Playgrounds and Youth Clubs in Southwark! I don?t know how true this is, has anyone else heard anything? It would be a shame, I?ve been there a few times, its seems like a great space for the children to play. I understand its been there for years!
  11. 12. Oops egg on face moment. It went under a ?300k refurb earlier this year & is now called the Elm Tree with great food and a lovely big beer garden. Also has great live music by a blues band on Saturday evenings. http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g2549055-d8454955-Reviews-The_Elm_Tree-Beckenham_Greater_London_England.html rodneybewes Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Not exactly a hotel but a friend of mine suggested > we go for a pint at the William IV in Elmers End > based on this review: > http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/comments.shtm > l/23675/. > > Just as a flavour here is a quick point and > counterpoint: > > "Those Of You That Live In The Beckenham Area, > avoid this Dump of a Pub as Its full of wrong urns > and they are that desperate.
