Has anyone looked at Leigh on Sea? 47 minutes from Fenchurch St, a few arty places, cinema in nearby Southend . It's got a tidal nature reserve on the doorstep of the station..

I'd like to turn ours off ASAP. Separately I am a bit grumpy about government's campaign on heat pumps, we need to sort the insulation out first. And why are we still building houses with gas central heating and no heat pumps such as the new development in Dulwich Village. OK this is wider discussion on the Lounge.
I can't believe we still flush perfectly clean water down the toilet! Grey water systems should be mandatory too

I hope you never run into the last character eating chicken on my bus-he was an older guy, and when he'd finished his food, removed his dentures and picked them clean 😗
I'm still getting over it!

I was told that the two local M&S stores donate their bakery items (such as the bread) to the Albrighton. This is instead of yellow stickering them at the end of the day.
I really hope this is true, but it wasn't the case when I worked late shifts at the station branch

I can recommend Bluegrove House, in Bermondsey SE16.
Never seen such a clean, caring place. I visited a person there, I have no other ties with the place

A delight, but I love Paul Giamatti.
Funny, touching, perfect Christmas movie released in January!

I was about to come on here and ask the same about the 37!
No info on bus stops, don't even say closed outside North Dulwich station with the road closed!

If you don't have any response locally, I've always found Meetup.com has many groups for every different interest you can name

Southwark has now relaunched it's HERE TO HELP COST OF LIVING FUND.
To be clear, it's for low incomes and people NOT on benefits but worth a look.
Search cost of living fund on the council website

Hi everyone, I am currently training to be a yoga instructor and wanted to specialise in menopause. I wanted to see if there was much interest in this?
I'm sure there would be! There's a woman already doing some similar sessions called Tiffy

I had an expected delivery date given on the tracker of Sunday but the excuse given was 'property inaccessible' which to my knowledge has never been the case :-)
Inaccessible because delivery was not even attempted IMO

Just offered the flu jab from Tessa Jowell surgery by text, I'm not 65 yet!

Can't see the ad, but it's possible to report a post directly, via the actual post

Planning an autumn trip, anyone familiar and able to give tips on good locations for accommodation etc? Ways of getting around, things to see off the beaten track?
