  1. I'm with you Raquel, I've assumed from the start that this thread was actually a bit of a joke, because I really don't want to consider the alternative, which is that there are people out there who would have so little respect for someone that they would go on an internet forum for advise on how to dump them. Seriously if this thread is real, then print it off, go up to him and say "believe me you're better off without me because basically I'm a bit of a heartless c**t", then hand it to him.
  2. Keegan has a huge ego, but still feel he has a right to be a bit miffed at Newcastle this time round. Man City - Yet to be seen, but I really like the look of this Jo, and with Robinho joining him up front I think they will be very dangerous. With the likes of Spurs and Villa not looking that amazing, I think City will be in 5th, and may even nick 4th... Or they may just have a mare! If this take over all goes through smoothly, then I expect them to buy in January, and buy a mega squad in the summer and really compete next year. I don't like teams buying success, but at the same time, I'd love to see them beat United just for giggles! >:D<
  3. Why lounged when some people were actually discussing whether east dulwich station was about to get ticket barriers or not?
  4. Don't blame Keegan this time if he walks. He was promised the club would buy and show ambition, they haven't and Owen will be leaving soon too.
  5. This is a joke right? If not, then plant some lipstick on his collar and some knickers in his car and dump him for cheating on you. That'll mess with his head as well as breaking his heart. Then show him that you've asked for advise on an internet forum and hand him the gun with which to shoot himself in the head.
  6. He you've ever paid a few pounds for a can of white lightening, you're getting robbed as well as cheated on. You obviously come across as rather the victim.
  7. Barriers went up recently at Sydenham station, so wouldn't surprise me.
  8. City won't do too much this season, but Liverpool and Arsenal best watch out next year cos at the moment we can't compete with the cash! Hope those American tossers sell the pool to some rich people!
  9. I'm generally not in to wild west stuff either, except Young Guns when I was a teen. But Deadwood is quality. Will look out for lonesome dove on lovefilm.
  10. No Moos, but I think the people living in said areas are more likely to moan about it ;-)
  11. And quite right too! Women of today, tsk!
  12. Fingers crossed. It's actually further than Norwich I think. Somewhere beginning with a T???
  13. Mrs Keef liked Deadwood a lot, but she did make a very good point that it was really quite claustraphobic. All based in and around 3 or 4 (very good) sets. You did kind of long for them to go out in to the country a bit.
  14. Thought that may stir a reaction. Sorry, but both THE Pixies and the Stoned Roses are groups that have had songs I like, but that overall I just don't get why they a revered quite so much. Maybe I was just 5 years too young to really "get it" at the time, but I'm not sure it would've made a difference.
  15. Hope it's not serious, hate to say it, but without Gerrard and Torres, we really don't look like anything particularly special (solid and hard to beat, but not threatening). As for the ticket, you are a tease young lady! I would bloody love to join you, but I shall be getting in a van and going up somewhere around Norwich at about 9am, playing a wedding, and probably getting home about 4am!!! Not looking forward to it, and would much rather be getting drunk on a train to the pool!!! On the bright side, I get paid :)-D
  16. Finished Deadwood series 3 last night, bloody good series. Only thing about series like that, (and the wire I guess) is that they are about real life (be it now or during the goldrush), so the story never really ends as such, and you always wish you could go back and revisit to see what's going on. Gagging to get in to Wire 5 now, but at the same time, don't want to have no more wire. Saw poor Sean last week, and he looked so scared about the future knowing he only had 3 episodes left of wire! ;-) Mrs Keef and I are going to watch I Claudius for a bit of a retro laugh, then on to Weeds, I'll let you know what we think, our friend highly recommends it, but he does like some shite (as well as some quality like the wire and deadwood).

    LOL Posts

    Really liked this one.
  18. The Drum (RIP) - The Libertines.
  19. CPT - Metallica, still going, but no longer with the greatest line up. Bishop - , The Kooks, Coldplay, Razorlight, hugely popular with trendy beautiful people, but frankly grotesque! Actually no, The Bishop - Stoned Roses / The Pixies - Everyone says how great it is, and it's cool to like it, but really it's shite and no one knows why they like it, but their friends want to go, so they go and poretend to be having a good time, whilst all along their friends are doing exactly the same! Heh heh heh
  20. To be honest, I was pleased we got the bloody point. More importantly, is there any news on Torres??? Agreed totally with Lee Dixon on MOTD2, why pay ?20m for a striker who plays "in the hole", then put him on the left wing?!?!?!?
  21. Could City be the next Chelsea if this dealall goes through??? There is even rumour that they have entered the race for Berbatov. I'd be p!ssed off if I supported spurs, and he'd rather play for City! United *spits* you can kind of understand (if you accept that these are the days of the mercenary player), but City?!?!? Spurs should be up there fighting City for players, not letting their star man go that way! Mat just be a load of rubbish though.
  22. Brendan, I love that riff to Alive too! Couple of guitar riffs I've always liked. (hope these are right, as no sound at work) Life in the fast lane Are you gonna go my way Hmm, seems to be a bit of a road trip theme... :-S And just cos I feel like it have a bit of Cherub Rock!
  23. Wings. Just never going to be The Beatles. Sean it wasn't directed specifically at anyone, just a couple of threads recently that have hit a nerve.
  24. Exactly bloody right!!! Perhaps the original post was a bit aff, but I like the idea of this thread. And I hate the defensiveness that it has inspired! Then again, the staff in Threshers who are all about to lose their jobs are just a bunch of chavs aren't they. *stomps off*
  25. I'm not sure about Friday, really want to have a look at the Duke, and obviously see people, but I have an 8am set up and sound check the following day, so it may not be wise!
