  1. Perhaps you should've read the post before Jah's. This thread is crap, I don't deny it. I also dont deny that I'm I plastic fan, because frankly, I'm not sure what it means. But you're obviously hard core and genuine, so well done you, you clearly support your team properly, whatever that means. As for the biggest arsehole on this forum, there is plenty of competition for that spot, several of whom are regular posters on this very thread. At least the person you're talking about doesn't try to pretend anything.
  2. Scholes can't tackle for shit, but he's not a defender. Frankly though SP, you were the one that couldn't let it lie, then say that Jah stirring. And can you show me any post where a "scouser" has said anything other than that Carragher should've been sent off? Once again, we're talking about football, and very very well paid people. Excuse me if I don't lose any sleep, or God forbid, show no sympathy for one who throws himself to the ground on a regular basis. I really couldn give a shit about him, or any other player that I don't know from Adam, to be quite honest. If that makes me a bad person, then, oh well.
  3. I do think it's a bit out of order to suggest that a man who won't have it done, is some sort of git who just expects the woman to take responsibility for everything, which seems to be the suggestion in a couple of posts.
  4. I'd rather the whole thing be forgotten. I took it as aimed at me, because I was the one who called Nani a girl, but nevermind. Life is far too short, and I've got more important things to get wound up about. Peace and love everyone xxx
  5. No intention of leaving because of anything you said, that is a whole other story. I am sorry if my posts came across as unpleasant. All my comments were based on what I saw on the day, and what I saw on MOTD, and I thought his reaction was shocking. That was not to defend the tackle in any way (and I never have). I've just done a google search, and there are some stories suggesting he may be out for a few weeks, and that, if true, is unfortunate, but I still think his reaction lost him a lot of sympathy, and maybe "boy who cried wolf" is appropriate in this scenario. That is purely because of the xenophobic thing. I'm not sure if Narnia was trying to be malicious or not, but that little "throw away" comment, annoyed me more than anything has on this thread, or this forum for a long time! You just don't throw words like that around, even if you have read a newspaper article (which I agreed, made some good points). Xenophobic, and racism may not be the same thing, but for me, they are both equally unpleasant accusations, and yes, I get upset if one is aimed at me. Had the word "racists" been used instead of "xenophobes", there would have been much more of an uproar, and having read that article, I'm not sure the guy who wrote it really knows the difference. Anyway, I've said my piece.
  6. I've not heard anything about Nani missing a game, let alone career ending, so lets not exaggerate.
  7. So good you said it 3 times! I don't get it, lots of people are gutted to have missed out on Kingsdale, whilst you're convinced it's rubbish before you even start. Believe me, Haberdashers is just a school like any other. (Although if your child is musical, it's briliant!)
  8. Keyboard warrioring of the worst kind? We are on a thread about football aren't we? Taking the piss out of a player for crying might be mean, but it's only fucking football for christ's sake! I've no idea why anyone has taken it so seriously, and you don't seem to have an opinion on the whole xenophobic claim Quids? I swear, Sean done the right thing getting off this stupid forum. Christ knows what you'd call it if someone was talking about something that actually mattered.
  9. Not great from Liverpool tonight, but equally, it seems to be a hard place to go to. Hopefully, we'll do an Arsenal, and spank them when they come to Anfield...
  10. Heh heh, just read about that, it would be funny.
  11. Good work Spurs. Never once in control of the match, but did your jobs, and got the result, which is all that matters at the end of the day.
  12. It's only when it happens that suddenly you start to hear about lots of other people having had them. In my experience, people don't know what to say, so they say nothing, almost like they feel it could be catching. What you really don't want is for other pregnant "friends" to constantly go on about how great things are going, and posting their fucking scan pics on facebook!!! (Sorry, real gripe of mine).
  13. I suspect opinions change with circumstances. Ask me again once baby number 2 arrives. I'll probably be out in the shed with a hack saw!
  14. How odd, I was going to start this very thread today, as we're going on a stag in a few weeks. Not interested in clubbing or lap dancing, just places with booze and perhaps some music.
  15. I know the difference thanks, but your implication is a bit dirtier than that. You've read a couple of articles, which make some good points. However, from that, you decide that any football fan, saying anything negative about a foreign player (even if he has acted badly), is being xenophobic. Perhaps your claims would hold more water, if you had said that everyone was having a go at Raphael for his challenge, but defending Carragher, as they were similar incidents (as was the case with Holloway having a go at Houllier, and not Dalglish). However, everyone was in agreement that they were both in the wrong. The Nani thing was an altogether different incident. People said he acted poorly (which he did), and I took the piss out of the crying a bit (so what). I'll tell you what, if there is a similar incident with an English player, and I don't take the piss, or have a go about it, then perhaps you can say I have some sort of double standards, or am indeed xenophobic. Until then, you just come over as someone who has read an article, learnt a new word, and thrown it at the first possible incident you could, even though it doesn't work at all in that context. Well done.
  16. So based on your opinion, which you have absolutely no evidence to back up, you're labelling people as xenophobic? Sorry Narnia, but that is absolutely fucking stupid! EVERYONE on here, Liverpool fan or not, said Carra should have been sent off for a really bad tackle. There was not a lot else to say on the matter. Nani's reaction was a much bigger talking point, wherever he's from. You've basically called me, and maybe others on here, racist, and that is bang out of order, and I think you should have a word with yourself!
  17. Belle, agree about hormonal effects of the pill and similar, but there are other options. If it is reversible, then no worries, but otherwise, it just seems so, drastic!
  18. Are they? They never used to be, but guess things move on. Still, I'd be tempted to opt for celibacy and a drug habit.
  19. Know what you mean. Seriously, it there any need for man or woman to have permanent irreversible surgery in this day and age, with contraception what it is?
  20. And where did anyone say anything at all about his nationality? Xenophobia ?noun an unreasonable fear or hatred of foreigners or strangers or of that which is foreign or strange. Well, to be fair, Nani's reaction was strange, but I'm not sure that makes any of us Xenophobic, and I'm damned sure that's not what you meant anyway. Absolutely fecking stupid comment Narnia.
  21. But you've taken nothing back, so you are calling me xenophobic. Where the hell has that come from, do you even know what it means?
  22. Tallis always attracted a lot of middle classes from black heath and brockley. That is shocking though!
