That looked o.k to me Lilith. If a different angle on hedges cpould be made,it would be more interesting,I couldnt sit through yet another crackpot neighbour feud ,just because one of them is a control freak. Lots of those have been on the tv. Rather see topiary and more futuristic type projects with hedges and gardens,and some thought given to wild life. You sure your project manager has not got a beef with his neighbours hedge and wants to do some point scoring. Education in life is what we need, not education in strife.

I liked "The Thing" it was a very interesting , a bit like a sci-fi who done it.It was also the only film Kurt Russel ever done well. They should have carried on with another story.

For people you know far away,you could put a phone voucher in with their Christmas cards, before the last postal time of course. For gardeners you could put a packet of flower seeds in with their cards.

To make family/friends games more fun at Christmas. Have a lucky dip of prizes in a box for the winners of games.toys puzzles, pens ,any small item. blue paper and pink to define the gender. For older party people bottles of wine,chocolate,what ever you can think of.

A lot cheaper gift for craft people would be a nice book, or magazine subscription if they live far away.

I forgot to say, chestnuts,walnuts,brazil nuts etc,

After a conversation with some younger ladies, I was told a nice present for Christmas would be a sewing machine,as there is a revival in making clothes,same with Knitting, apparently its a new art form. So that told me.

Leaglebeagle, do you charge for home delivery and is it the same day,or do you have to order beforehand. Would your deliveries cover Christmas and New year.

If you spend a considerable amount of money on wine, there are places that do home delivery, or shop on line.
