    It will be a nightmare - It always is why should it improve during the Olympics?

    Dont just use your eyes to check the mirrors. use your head. IE Move your head when you look in the mirrors then the examiner will see you checking the mirrors. And the trouble with being stuck in traffic - you may stall!

    The Traffic signals at Colyton were to get the Water works Lorries in and out safely. They werent even a veiled attempt to slow anything down. Having been involved in 2 very near misses before the Lights were installed I have to say I am in favour of keeping them

    I think the objection was to photos of a theoretical accident where people were hurt. I too would object to photos of a theoretical accident where people were hurt. I would also object to pictures ritual humiliation of people and eating live insects/bugs. Fortunately its on Channel 5 now which my TV is programmed to reject.

    There was quite a lot of opposition mainly based on mis-apprehension and prejudice. There wasn't a referendum but there were petitions and a planning meeting.
