There does seem to be an increase in Hate Crimes against the Disabled. There are stories going around about them not really being disabled and get huge amounts of benefit. Maybe the perp thought you didn't look disabled and shouldn't be in the disabled bay?

They check your card for the payment. I tried it on a 23 worked perfectly - much better than tying up cash on a Boyster Card. But you don't get transfers or price caps.
