  4. Sorry to hear this, but it doesn't surprise me as someone I knew had flowers pulled up from a grave in Camberwell Old Cemetery. They had only planted them the week before.
  5. The bag that you left has been handed to the driver. 40 bus from ED to Clerkenwell.
  6. I'm very sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that Carl has never been forgotten in our community.
  7. Great. Now reunited with owner
  8. Thank you, that's what the bus driver said when I handed it to him. It is how I was raised.
  9. If you were sitting downstairs prior to 12.50pm today, back seat on the 176 bus, i have handed your bag into the driver.
  10. Yesterday there was another crash at the same spot as the previous ones outside the BT building at Fireman's Alley.Seems like a danger waiting to happen. Another crashed car was moved from there this morning.
  11. The Police Station was on the corner of Crystal Palace Road and the horses were kept out the back. My Great Grandmother and Great Grandfather owned a nearby Barber shop. The police men would visit the barber shop often and get their beards shaved. My grand mother and her sister, who were growing up in the family home, would have to lather the policemens chins, much to their amusement as they giggled away.
  12. I have found a ring on Lordship Lane, if you have lost one please get in touch with a description. Thanks
  13. Hello Does this help at all? https://hiddenarchitecture.net/dawsons-heights-state/
  14. Firstly i do hope that the driver is not seriously injured. However this is the second time that a car has mounted the pavement on this corner of the road outside the BT building on Lordship Lane. There are not enough bollards erected on this bend to protect the public and some haven't been replaced since the last crash a few weeks ago. I fear that it could be a matter of time before a member of the public is fatally injured, as they head towards Dulwich Park or walk along that bend. Can anyone advise as to who is responsible for road safety re bollards etc along this part ?
