My boyfriend and I have lived in our flat at the end of Glengarry Road for coming up to a year. We have been baffled by the strange noise we hear quite frequently. Its a mixture between a baby screaming, a fox or a deer, and a woman experiencing great pleasure! We have been trying to work the noise out for some time and have only just realised its a CAT!! A black cat that lives around the area wanders around making the most horrific noise. I spotted it out the window the other day, siting on top of the fence and no joke it almost had to dislocate its jaw to make the noise. It is frightening and goes on for over a minute when it starts. So so so strange. Never heard anything like it from a cat. Anyone else heard it?

Does anyone know why there is such a lack of charity shops in East Dulwich? I have been taking stuff to the Oxfam at Herne Hill but I also like a good rummage especially for books....is there a reason for there not being many? I can think of two in East Dulwich...are there more that Im just not seeing?

An Italian restaurant? Or is there one hiding somewhere? The only one I know is the one near the Ice Cream shop!
