Our lovely nanny is leaving to start her own family, having been with us for 4.5 years. We are looking for someone to look after our two children, 2 and 5 years old, starting at the end of June. Nanny for Two Children Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and caring nanny to look after our two children, aged 2 and 5. The nanny will be responsible for school drop off and pick up for the 5-year-old and taking care of the 2-year-old throughout the day. They will also be responsible for home tasks such as booking activities, cooking healthy meals and laundry for the children. During school holidays, the nanny will need to look after the 5-year-old during day times. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 18:30, with extra hours for babysitting paid on top. Responsibilities: Provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children Pick up and drop off the 5-year-old at school Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities with the children Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children Bathe and dress the children as needed Administer medication to the children if required Handle light housekeeping duties related to the children Manage children's laundry Book and organize age-appropriate activities for the children Provide basic first aid when necessary Communicate effectively with the parents regarding the children's daily activities, progress, and any concerns Attend to the children's emotional and social needs Provide a stimulating and fun environment for the children Requirements: Previous experience as a nanny or childminder Paediatric First Aid qualification Enhanced DBS check Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Fluent English language skills Ability to work flexible hours when required Positive, confident, and kind personality Ability to provide a safe, caring and fun environment for the children Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Salary and Benefits: Salary range between £28,000 to £30,000 per annum based on experience 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Opportunities for professional development and training We are looking for a nanny who is passionate about working with children and committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for them to grow and develop.
