  1. We have a very old heating system / with a newer boiler in our house, which is turning off every day so we regularly have no heating. It's a hangover from the old owners but we would like to make do if possible as we are about to refurb including the plumbing so I would rather not replace anything major now. I would like to find an experienced plumber who is better able to understand an older, imperfect system and crucially how to repair them, with the knowledge that it's by no means perfect!!!! My ideal would be to fix it up temporarily if we can. Most plumbers just come in and tell me the boiler is in the wrong place, which is of course right, but not extremely helpful to us right now. Ultimately we might have to replace it but I would love someone experienced to take a good look at it to see if we can repair it first. Pls PM your deets and I can give you a call.
  2. Part-time housekeeper required for family of four in Dulwich Village. From £18 p/h ++ We are a friendly, hands-on family of four living in Dulwich Village and we're looking for a flexible housekeeper who is able to cook. Key responsibilities would be laundry, cleaning and cooking. We are flexible for the right candidate but we'd ideally like an all rounder that can slot into our family life and lend a hand in helping the household run smoothly. And a child-friendly attitude is a must. A great communicator is also key so we know what's happening and when in this busy household, but also so we can support your role to the best of our abilities. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for cleaning and the ability to manage weekly jobs as well as stay on top of a monthly rotation of 'spring' cleaning jobs. Cooking will be a core responsibility and the ideal candidate would prepare healthy (ish!!) home-made daily meals for four and plan and cook fridge or freezer fills for the weekend. We are quite flexible on hours for the right candidate (but minimum 20 hours a week) and ideally Mon-Thurs 1-6. Afternoons though are a must. Please PM me Home
