    🐶Dog First Aid - Saturday 1st June Dog First Aid is ideal for anyone living or working with dogs. It will teach the essentials of caring for a dog in a range of first aid situations. We are teaming up with Dog First Aid Franchise Ltd to provide a First Aid course focusing on how to care for Dogs. Whether you are attending to gain knowledge on what to do for your family pet or dogs you work with, this course will be suitable for you. Everyone over the age of 18 is welcome. Dog First Aid Franchise Ltd provide unique training workshops teaching canine first aid. These workshops are designed with working vets and vet nurses and are specifically for dog owners or those who work with dogs. For - Anyone over the age of 18. When - Saturday 1st June 2024. During our workshop Elizabeth will show you how to, step by step. Elizabeth will share with you her floral experience along with plenty of practical tips and tricks - how to select and combine the freshest flowers, how to enhance your flowers’ longevity, even how to choose the ‘right’ vase. Class sizes are kept between 6 to 12 pupils per teacher to ensure plenty of individual tuition for each swimmer (class sizes may vary in the higher ability groups). Lessons are delivered by specialist instructors in the school’s 25-metre pool. Teachers will accompany non-swimmers and beginners in the water to provide an environment which is fun, friendly, and enjoyable. Parents are welcome to watch their children from our spectator area that overlooks the pool.     Beginners Ceramics Workshop - Weds 7th June to Weds 5th July Learn the basics of ceramics in this fun 5-week workshop! Our course has been specifically designed for beginners who are keen to learn new skills in a warm, welcoming environment. We'll introduce all the fundamentals of this popular craft, including clay handling and forming techniques, glazing and firing methods, and more. Sessions will focus on the following 5 themes: Shape, Print, Colour, Plate and Vase. Sessions are led by Mariia Shub, a professional art teacher and graphic designer recently relocated from the Ukraine. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge with the community that has welcomed her and her family. Mariia is working with Alleyn's to host adult art classes open to everyone. Overview: For - Anyone over the age of 18. No prior knowledge or experience is necessary. When - 5 weekly sessions on a Wednesday evening, beginning on the 7th June through to 5th July 2023. Time - 7:00pm to 8:30pm, although some sessions may run till 9:00pm if necessary. Where - Alleyn's School, Junior School Art Studio. Cost - £200 for the block of 5 sessions [Weds 7th June to Weds 5th July, 5 consecutive weeks]. Materials - All materials will be provided.
