After I had my brand new Howdens kitchen 'fitted' (ruined) by an incompetent local handyman who called himself a carpenter, I came onto this forum in despair in the hope to find someone to fix it and finish the job properly. Since there were a million reviews singing the praises of Top Marx, I approached with trepidation, wondering how on earth I was going to afford them and how long I would have to wait! I needn't have worried - Gabi (who looks after bookings) sorted me out immediately. John came to quote, explained what needed fixing, and I was booked in for about 4 weeks later.
John was a pleasure to have around, he was clearly extremely competent and experienced with his work, he knew exactly what he was doing and sorted everything in less than 2 days and nothing was an issue for him (a refreshing contrast from the initial guy I used, for whom everything was a major issue).
Now, my kitchen is looking finished and beautiful and everything works as it should. Amazingly, despite being a complete pro, John only charges about the same day rate as the first guy - which means I am now kicking myself hard for not coming on here in the first place, and booking John from the start, saving myself and lot of money, hassle and stress!
