Join us between 1pm and 5pm on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 May for our Open Weekend. We'll be running bookable full windmill tours and short drop in tours both afternoons. It's also National Mills Weekend so we'll be aiming to get our sails turning on Saturday afternoon - always a really exciting site to see! Our cafe and shop will be open for delicious home made cakes, unique Brixton gifts and Brixton Windmill Flour. On Sunday we also offer a guided local history walk of Brixton Hill finishing at the windmill.

Are you tired of the usual Hot Cross Buns? Do you feel like improving your baking skills while learning some new recipes to show-off during your Easter Holidays? Look no further! Join our hands-on full day Easter baking class and learn how to make three delicious Italian-inspired Easter bakes, which you will take home at the end of the session. It’s for a small group so you’ll get lots of 1:1 tips and tuition. Includes lunch and the delicious bakes you make on the day.
This class is designed for a low number of participants, so you will be able to be followed more closely, ask questions and master these Easter bakes like a pro! Of course, you will walk away with lots of baked goods to bring home to share with your family and friends.

This class is suitable for anyone, regardless of age or baking experience (although a little home baking experience might be helpful). All the recipes will be fully explained step by step by session leader.
Common allergens will be used in this session (wheat/eggs/dairy/soy/nuts). Unfortunately we
aren’t able to tailor recipes for substitutions or alterations, as these can fundamentally
change the composition and outcome of the recipes. Please inform us of any allergies before
signing up, so we can assess your suitability for this class.

I’m Fabio, I was born in Venice and grew up in a house filled with seasonal food and meals made from scratch. Many years have passed since that memory but the one thing that hasn’t changed is my passion for food, tasty and flavourful homemade food. And to the cry of ‘no ready made stuff and fake flavours’, I’ve kept baking, cooking, and sharing my experiments with my family and friends.
Join us on Easter Sunday for a family day in Windmill Gardens. We’ll be running a treasure hunt for children with a chocolate treat to find (£2 suggested donation) from 1.30pm. There’ll also be an Easter Bonnet competition with judging for best decorated headwear at 3.30pm. Free Easter themed craft workshops will run at the centre all afternoon. Our cafe and shop will be open and we are hoping for a sunny spring day to enjoy the park and windmill together.
The windmill is open for guided tours from 1pm to 5pm so you could combine your visit with a tour if you like! Full tours are bookable via brixtonwindmill.org or shorter drop in tours are available on the day.
