  1. In answer to the original question, yes they should. See many cyclists flying down Denmark Hill every morning. While we are at it, there should be some sort of licence to ride an e-bike (such as Lime bikes) and they should have a number plate and be registered. If they are capable of doing 15mph then they need to be properly regulated. Again, many people jump on a Lime bike and have absolutely no idea of road rules, which is dangerous for all.
  2. I agrees that roadworks are essential and staggering them is the best solution. ED is not a big place and there are major roadworks at either end making it almost impassable at peak times of the day, on all forms of transport. The amount of pollution being poured into the air before 9am and anytime between 4.30-6pm is appalling and god knows what you breathe in when you walk from one end of Lordship Lane to another. There may have been a consultation between the companies that are doing the roadworks but given that they are both major works lasting months, I feel that more consideration should have been made, and one start shortly before the other one ends.
  3. Traffic backed up beyond Goose Green this morning due to the many roadworks in East Dulwich. I’m sure this is doing wonders for the clean air initiative.
  4. Not sure it’s much of an improvement in terms of equipment. The new treadmills don’t have the same basic functionality as the old ones. Seems a downgrade. The place does look a little more modern though.
