I need someone to take down a pine tree that is getting too big (about 15ft with trunk diameter of around 6ins)with stump removal if possible. Would also like existing (thinning) gravel to be taken up and a new membrane laid before replacing and supplementing gravel. Can anyone recommend a gardener/landscaper please?

Stupidly reversed my Golf into an unseen stone on holiday causing a large dent. Can it be bashed out, or does it need a whole new bumper section? Would rather not claim on my insurance. Any suggestions for a garage which will give me honest advice?

My garden shed needs repair on the side that gets the sun. Wood around the windows and one or two of the wooden strips beneath the window need replacing. Floor, roof and the rest of the shed are fine so I don't need a complete new shed. I can send photos. Can anyone recommend someone? Or would anyone like to come and quote?

Dave Bassom has done a couple of jobs for me, lifting and re-fitting existing carpet as well as fitting a new carpet. V satisfied with his work, and much cheaper than Dulwich Carpets or John Lewis! His number is 07867974124.

My fences are ok, but I have a shed that needs repair. Roof and floor are in good condition, but the side that faces the sun is in need of renewal in places. Yet another recommendation for Niko. He recently fixed a shower that was running too hot. This involved doing away with the unnecessary tank in the roof and replumbing the cold water supply to the mains. He even took the old tank away. Today I called him about a minor leak. He was here within minutes, even though it's so close to Christmas, and fixed it quickly. Put his number (07818 607583) in your address book - he's a real find.

Found Niko through the ED forum and can confirm that he provides a remarkable service. Asked him to plumb in some new taps, but he said this was not necessary and unblocked the old ones. He phoned back quickly after I had left a message and was able to do my job on the same day.
