Ayres Bakery in Nunhead for traditional English or Boulangerie Jade for french bread on the Lane.

I?m not suggesting all joggers have right of way on pavements. My observation is that most parks I?ve been to people are sticking to the paths and leaving a lot of space. If you want to minimise your risk of infection go where there aren?t people. Wow

Do you remember that game Lemmings?

You want me to spell it out. OK. Dulwich Park and most other parks have a path/road that circumnavigates the park. Walk on the grass not on the pathway therefore not near anyone. Most people aren't doing this.

If you go to the park don't walk on the path. Simple

I find the pubs are usually the best place to go i.e the Actress, The Great Exhibition. Less chatter and a cheeky beer in the afternoon -
It's paid to keep an eligible car on the road. If I didn't pay it my car would be clamped, impounded and eventually crushed. I'm not saying it's a tex to drive it. And I'm not opposed to paying, it's how you pay. There are people who have to drive for various reasons who visit the parks every day that can't afford ?700 pa

I'd rather become a Park member and pay an annual fee than this. Did the council ever think to ask what the residents wanted. Having lived all over south London, one of the many great things about our area is you don't have to pay for parking. It's such a minor thing but has such a negative impact on your day. This is so shortsighted and infuriating

Violent Mugging in East Dulwich (March 2nd 2017)

First of all I'm glad you're alright and can write about your experience. I wasn't so lucky. I would advise anyone against fighting back (unless you are f****** hard), they could easily have knives or worse a gun although unlikely. Screaming for help would be wiser and running to the nearest front door and banging the hell out of it or smashing someones front window would be my choice if I good go back in time. I got jumped by 5 kids in Balham about 10 years ago, I was lucky I wasn't in a coma. My head was the size of a football. A friend of a friend wasn't so lucky. He got jumped by the same group and they smashed his eye socket. You got off pretty lightly by the sound of it, although a little naive to be wondering the streets with all that stuff at 4am. I'm guessing your were too drunk to cycle? They also did you a favour by leaving your keys and passport. At least they weren't complete c*nts. Just lost boys. I would put money on that they are local from one of the estates. Oh they got caught in the end, they always do. The Police traced 100 crimes back to their flat full of stolen goods and are now serving 13 yrs behind bars. Unfortunately they are now learning how to be real criminals. Use Uber next time, Panther are cheap too. Other taxi firms are available -
surely if it keeps happening spend an hour or so in the morning filming the street
