  1. Thanks for this post - I met Federico last night & he worked wonders with my hair. Best highlights I've ever had - very natural as he does them free hand - very talented. I have fine hair & the highlights together with the cut have made my hair look thicker & healthier. Very happy new client. 🙂
  2. Hi, I believe there's another BlueSky grass company - this is a small company that specialise in residential. Thanks
  3. Had to share this recommendation for a Company called BlueskyGRASS. Always thought about having artificial grass fitted but assumed it would be really expensive & a bit of a cheat! But after years of battling with water logged clay soil & the yearly invasion of moss - I finally gave in. Firstly I was impressed by the quality of the grass & secondly the price was half what I was expecting. It's been fitted for over a month now & no regrets. No more dirty paws, no more dirty kids & I have to say the kids are outside more often now. I haven't done a thing with it since it was fitted & it looks natural. The most surprising aspect - after the kids have rolled around on it - it doesn't remain flat, it seems revert back! Anyway, highly recommend these guys - hard working, efficient & very professional. www.blueskygrass.com
  4. Hi, my husband is a very keen (however ageing!) basketball player... He used to play in a Greek team every Sunday for 2 hours... He admits he couldn't do that anymore but I know he misses it & wants to play. There's so many parks in the local area with courts so I've been bugging him to set something up... I kind of guessed he wouldn't, so I'm attempting to help out. This is the help I get however ... "Thanos, can you let me know what you want me to write on EDF"... Response "ex Greek basketball superstar is starting his own youth team, any takers"?.... Sigh. So PM me & I'll pass over Thanos's mobile & leave you guys to sort out a team. Many thanks Andrea
  5. Hi all, Hugh... Some amazing puns there... Finished off the whole story purr-fectly!! Massive thanks to Cat & Wez again. Did call around, RSCPA said to call Firebrigade, Railtrack/Netwotk rail told me to call Fire service as they're the only ones that can call for permission to resume on their property. Fire service said he'd eventually come down when hungry. Thank goodness we rescued him without going onto Network rail property :-)
  6. Huge thanks to Hugh for posting the message in the first place, genius & huge thanks to Cat & Wes... You guys were beyond amazing & Boris is home & safe after over 2 days. Honestly my faith in humanity was restored tonight as I met some pretty amazing people that took time out to help... Made our weekend. Thank you East Dulwich forum... Boris is still purring but about to collapse from his ordeal. Hope I can pay it forward sometime soon xx
  7. Hi, I'm looking for a cleaner, would it be possible for forward her details. Many thanks Andrea
  8. Hi, this morning at 3am my car was broken into...I woke because I heard a bang & thought it was a window being smashed & saw 2 scooters with 3 men speed away. I went down to my car expecting to find a broken window but only an open door. Fortunately I don't keep anything in my car but the concern is that they could have driven it away as they had a master key which overrides the locking system. I informed the Police & they popped round for a look & informed me that they've had a lot of reports of Landrovers being broken into & advised us to go back to the old fashioned steering lock. Feel quite fortunate to still have a car this morning & don't want anyone else to get a nasty shock. The Police were great & asked if you see anything suspicious please call 101. Thanks
  9. Hi, I'm looking for someone who can do 2-3hrs cleaning on a Friday & then collect the kids from school, bring them home & feed & entertain the munchkins. Munchkins are nearly 3 & nearly 6 (boy & girl). Hours 1pm to 6pm (with a bit of flex to 7pm occasionally) Live: East Dulwich School/Nursery: Lyndhurst Grove (walking distance 15mins, car 4 mins) If you don't have a car the P13 can help with some of the distance. Extra help would be useful for Babysitting & during the long holidays in Oct/Dec-Jan/Apr & Summer. Look forward to hearing from you....thanks Andrea
  10. Hi, I'm looking for help 1 day a week - are you still available?
  11. Hi, we live in East Dulwich & want to build a contemporary garden room (insulated, damp proofed, electrical sockets & down lights, clad at front in red cedar, integrated shed, sliding patio doors). We also recently had a leak & looking for someone to fit a new en suite which requires a small change to one of the walls to enlarge the en suite. Please get in touch if you're interested. Kind regards
  12. Hi, I'm looking for a female running partner (or partners) at a similar level to me, for a couple of runs a week. I can run 5k ok but would like a push to go further. Can run after 7:30 pm weekdays and/or early Sat or Sun. I'm a Mum of two & just lacking a little incentive...PM me if you fancy some company/encouragement to get out for a run :-) Andrea
  13. Hi, I recently organised an afternoon tea at my home for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary after receiving a recommendation from a friend...I just have to pass on this recommendation. Baked by Belle offers a traditional afternoon tea experience, using vintage Art Deco china, all in the comfort of your own home. She sets everything up, even boils the kettle, & then, after you've finished (& there was not specific time, we just called her) she pops back & takes all the dirty dishes away....genius idea. The variety of teas was fantastic, I think I drank a litre in total...the sandwiches were tasty & light and the best scones & cakes I've had in a long long time. The scones were light & perfectly textured, the swiss roll was nothing short of amazing & her macaroons divine. All in all the best afternoon tea I've ever had. This very talented lady has just started up in business & more than deserves a recommendation on the Forum. www.BakedbyBelle.com email: [email protected]
