Hi As a fellow coeliac I'd love a pork pie for my birthday! There's a recipe for GF pork pies in this months Crossed Grain. It looks quite complicated....... WagFree is great and they do cook pies but I've never seen a pork pie there. Good luck.

A young man talking about loft insulation just called at my door - Danby St. I said I already had 4" of loft insulation, he said the Govt. says we should now have 11" and I'd be entitled to funding. Said his boss was up the road busy with a neighbour but would like to come back and look in my loft. I told him I wasn't interested, he persevered for a while and then left.

Looks like a big fire somewhere around Brixton Hill.Just went past the engines near Tulse Hill/Norwood Road Traffic reports now saying fire at Streatham Bus Depot.

Stood at the edge of Ruskin Park and didn't see a thing. Ah well, perhaps it will be on the news?

Just drove around and all clear now - could have done with a Richard Armitage sighting - it's been too long!

My daughter received a card last week saying the Post Office had something for her which was too big for the letterbox. When she went to pick it up from the office in Highshore Road, there were FIVE parcels for us. We hadn't received any notiifications and they'd attempted delivery on 28th August for one of the items. It might be worth checking the big delivery offices around you.
