Book Clubs in ED or surrounding areas

You could try this, which is coming up - Its held at Bullfinch?s delightful taproom in Herne Hill, their beer is great, but other drinks are available. -
Just to add another point of view, and with full disclosure I am a resident of these flats, although not ground floor - but I overlook the garden in question. This hedgerow is teemimg with insect and birdlife and for the first time in years we wake to voracious birdsong. Please do not quickly jump to condem and cut back, there is an easily accessible and wide footpath on the other side of the road so would not be inconvinient to leave this wildlife oasis intact.

Been using these guys for 10+ years, never a problem. Know they clean on site, not send away so, aside from fact you have registered on the forum today, suspect foul play! Great, friendly family business...

how to commute to Canary Wharf
Oopnorthpup replied to scarlettbanks's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
One thing to remember - if you go the Denmark Hill/Canada Water route it's also cheaper as you avoid going into Zone 1 and the ongoing nightmare of London Bridge. Have been doing the journey for a number of years, its quick, predictable and generally vey reliable. If North Dulwich more convenient you can easily switch from train to overground at Peckham Rye. -

Hi James, Can you look into who the contractors were that were working on East Dulwich Road on Saturday, who abandoned site late afternoon leaving the temporary traffic lights not working on the busy crossroads by the playground adjacent to Adys road? Caused mayhem for several hours and could have caused a nasty accident. Thanks -

Congratulations to the shabby work team working on ED Road today, left the temporarary traffic lights not working whilst you were still clearly working. We now have busy cross roads next to kids playground in chaos with no safe crossing. local councillers - please follow up and try and ensure these shoddy gits are not licensed to work in southwark again. Counting down to first accident-soon if the car horns are anything to go by....

I know people might bristle at Pimlico Plumbers - but we have used several local recommendations over last few years, and after yet another lacklustre piece of work resigned myself to Pimlico, assuming top dollar, now use by default including for a-boiler replacement - and worth every penny. Great staff, peace of mind and guarantees included. You may get cheaper quotes, but these guys do live up.
