Anyone who thinks this country suffers 'slavery' in any significant form has really no concept of the horrors of slavery.

They had that option, but rejected it in a referendum in 2015. So they weren't 'restricted by the EU' - they took up the offer of the EU bailout.
I'm not sure it was a great option, anyway. Defaulting on loans and creating the New Drachma would have had massive issues all of it's own.

It's about democracy
But the EU is more democratic than the UK.

Given the next two lines, I can fully understand the Remain campaign not selecting it.

The spread market is currently 53-54 stay and 46-47 leave.

In response to the general level of debate around the issue, they have amended the ballot for tomorrow...

Nobody ever won an election by assuming the general public is intelligent. That's why the Brexitters' "take back control" mantra (which Boris answered pretty much every question with in last night's debate) has been so effective.

I would have thought it was the other way around? I did think a few weeks ago that if England didn't get to the final 16 the remain vote would suffer.

There is currently a war between the unions and Southern over staffing, with staff calling in 'sick' as part of some surreptitious campaign. The RMT is striking today as part of the same war.

But surely you are voting tomorrow to stop them doing exactly that?

Maybe, but I reckon we export more unproductive people - how many retired people head to Europe? Apparently there are over half a million in Spain alone.

This referendum has no legal power at all. The only was to trigger Brexit is via an act of Parliament. There is an expectation that Parliament will follow the will of the referendum, though.

Not in the next couple of decades.

Strangely, so has Boris.

Different beastie. This is the Free Postcode Lottery, not the People's Postcode lottery. (And no, that's not Judean People's Front type stuff!)
This one is free, paid for by the numerous ads on the site. It has a number of draws a day, but you have to check the site else you lose your winnings and the money gets rolled over.
It's kosher. I found it (ironically, given your post) via the Money Saving Expert newsletter.
If you want to play, here's my ref link - http://freepostcodelottery.com/?ref=547618 (refs add to your bonus which is added to your dosh, should you ever win.)

Yay - the "Find Foxy's Cut-and-Paste Website" game continues!

Because cut and pasting crap was a much better solution.

Agreed. Horrible news.

A fun EDF game is to find the website Foxy copy-and-pastes his latest 'insight' from.

That's because the blue colour is a dye, but the thing that sends you blind is the methanol, which is colourless.

My last two printers were a Canon (current) and a HP. Both were 3-in-one style printers.
The HP was a good solid, printer with two annoyances. First, the scanning driver always auto-cropped multiple pages, which made the scan feeder useless. Second: the pop up boxes it created were annoying and unstoppable.
The Canon has also been good solid, printer (touch wood, given Sue's problems, though mine doesn't seem to be on the list of problem models). The one annoyance is that sometimes it refuses to print until you acknowledge a pop-up box on the computer initiating the print. You can't dismiss it from the printer itself, which is really annoying if you just walked upstairs...
Personally, I'd buy either again.

Try a local Polish supermarket and ask for Polish Pure Spirit - you can get it up to 95% ABV. Or try online.
Though as others have said... tread carefully with this sort of stuff.
Finally, some sense on Brexit - game-changer
