The land the ZRG seek to control includes the terraces, bowl area, bus station, car parks and slip roads - half the park. The impact on ED and DV will be significant. The extra daily vehicles this will bring to the surrounding congested road networks has not been addressed. Croxted road will be one of the main feeder routes from the north. The increase in HGVs servicing this complex placing increased strain on the single lane, residential roads will be significant. Here's the statement from the Dulwich Society: "The problem with Crystal Place is the lack of public transport access ? buses cannot cope with the potential numbers nor can Crystal Place low level station (don?t forget in Victorian times there was a dedicated station nearby ? Crystal Place High level ? with four platforms and very frequent services). People will drive to it (there will have to be huge underground car parks) and Dulwich sits on the route south from central London. Dulwich Village is not very wide and the Tollgate on College Road will force drivers onto parallel roads, Croxted Road (which can hardly cope at the moment) Alleyn Road and Alleyn Park." http://www.dulwichsociety.com/news/922-crystal-palace-redevelopment

Well, we will soon find out if there is to be a new local shopping mall or world trade centre just up the road from ED. A press conference is taking place in Crystal Palace Park tomorrow morning where the plans to sell the CPP hilltop to a billionaire investor will be unveiled. I would also add that expressing your dislike for James, here, ad infinitum has gone from tedious to ugly and back again. Yes thanks ianr. Curioser and curiouser. So no web presence other than a two month old twitter account and some adds on Gumtree, no valid company or charitable registration. Stk appears to be operating under the radar - wonder if HMRC have heard of them.

It's an odd one - restrictive, parochial and inward looking but I guess that's how it works. I can't see myself using an ED version because I find it hard enough to keep track of one currency plus I couldn't be bothered having to change sterling to ED? and majority of my financial transactions are done with a card not cash.

GG you are quick to jump to assumptions. I said that the tone of your posts is hostile and arrogant, not that it offends me. Thanks for setting out the background to this - I agree with your last point as I would like to know more about the work of this group, how it benefits young people and how to support it.

Dogs and bikes on one thread, it's going to get messy. I think Lady D is making a case for better road conditions for cyclists, which needs addressing not dismissing. I very much doubt that the increase in cyclists on London's streets is matched by investment in cycle friendly infrastructure. I don't condone pavement peddling, pushing or pooing - said it would get messy.
