  1. Spitting is a criminal offence if committed in the act of assault so certainly he could be arrested but would probably just end up paying you ?2.50 in compensation or end up doing a course to enable him to control his behaviour, probably get send to Disney Land Paris. I would contact the station staff or ask the police to do it as he would probably be on CCTV and he might be known to police already. Don't let the scumbag get away with it.
  2. Peckhamgatecrasher says this thread was started by a troll, thats incorrect as i wrote it not him!.
  3. well excuse me for my attempts at starting a new thread i was unaware that this had been previously covered as i am a new member. PS.Give it ten years.
  4. I personally would like to see Capital Punishment reintroduced as there is no significant detterant avaliabile now that might stop someone commiting murder, and i don't want to see my taxes go towards keeping these people alive and in jail. Before all the cry babies start i will state some facts. Britain effectively abolished capital punishment in 1965, the rate of murders in 1964 were 0.68 per 100,00 of the population now they are about 1.42 per 100,000 of the population a more than double rise. Home office figures show unlawfull killings were 300 in 1964, 833 in 2004 and 734 in 2007. Statistics kept by the Home office for the 5 year period between 1964 and 1969 show a 125% rise in murders that would have attracted a death sentance. Okay. Goverment analysis of the criminal situation between 1900 and the outbreak of the Second World War in 1939 points to the death penalty being a detterant to commiting criminal murders but not domestic murders,a criminal thinking of a planned robbery would think and plan ahead to avoid the consequences of murder, where as in domestic murder it would usually be non planned and happen in the heat of the moment. The most compelling argument against capital punishment is of course the fact that innocent people may be executed, however i think execution would be appropiate when the evidence against the individual is so compelling and compact that there is no chance the accused is actually innocent and with the use of dna now days it would be certainly easier to prove innocence or guilt. A 2005 survey(not to sure who they are) found that out of 1118 respondants 2/3 of thenm wanted the death penatly brought back, unfortunately due to our membership of the Eu and our commitment to the European Convention on Human Rights we are held back by those other people so politically it would be hard to reintroduce. All the money wasted on keeping people inside for murders could be used for other more important social projects, sadly its seems that we will have to accept the high level of crimes and murders till a time arises when the people have had enough and force the goverment to implement the changes.
  5. well done for posting your experiences, unfortunately some people on this forum believe that crime does not exist in Dulwich and that muggers don't venure here.
  6. I think you posted in the wrong section, try Fantasies i'm not sure if this forum has one though!.
  7. Would you vote for me though Jim The Chin.

  9. TonyQuinn-i agree with you i won't expect a grown up set of replies the next time i post something, it does seem that there are far too many idiots on this forum though. No suprise though as there are even more idiots in charge of the country. 2000AD was never in Latin and i started reading it in the early 80's its always been in English not suprising as we are in the UK. Bring back capital punishment, stop the crazy political correctness that is ruining the country, bring discipline back to schools, punish parents that allow their kids to become criminals. i wonder how many people share my views but keep it to themselves.

  11. There are some stupid people on this forum
  12. Its a shame how many people feel the need to post stupid and childish messages regarding a important issue. Now for all the ignorant people and those that live in a timeless bubble. I never read Viz Magazine found it childish much preferred reading 200AD when i was younger. Now, As robbers are known to police they are stopped reguarly by the police in their own areas so in order to carry on with their robberies they..............wait for it.....go to a area where they are not known and carry out their robberies. Very hard to believe i am sure but common sense dictates the truth. To those that have expressed a desire to case my home, feel free but if i see you doing it be ready for some confrontation and saying things in that manner in the first place are likely to get you in trouble with the authorities. So please refrain from any unecessary comments.
  13. My posts are not written with attitude and bias just fact, sorry if the truth hurts.
  14. People do commute to Dulwich to commit robberies as it is classed as a rich area with easy pickings for dis-affected youth. That is also why Dulwich Schoolchildren are targetted and robbed by these people, there are other factors also that i will not go into.
  15. People are not reading my posts properly call police if people are seen to be acting suspiciously, not if they are just wearing hoods. The hood is a item of fashion but criminals use it as a tool as it hides the features obviously. As for the comment on skateboarding-funny but totally irrelevant.
  16. My post is serious i don't know why you would think its not, and its actually based on fact. Please attend Police meetings, Community Council Meetings, Tra Meetings or even read a newspaper, or even speak to other agencies involved in policing. Dulwich is still quite safe and yes there are scum here who rob other people in Dulwich but the majority of robbers come from other areas Peckham and Camberwell, it is well known and obvious. Speak to youth in those areas and ask them where the robbers go to "tax" people it might enlighten you. I am a firm believer in corrective justice and hate all Political Correctness rubbish which has helped to destroy the once firm values and moral spirit this country had. Succesively weak goverments have made the UK a laughing stock when it comes to policing, and other matters, bring back capital punishment.
  17. Thanks for your intelligent reply to the content of this thread Horsebox, its always good to get worthy feedback and constructive criticism
  18. There seems to have been an increase in crime in Dulwich lately, with robberies by East Dulwich Station and on Lordship lane as well as by Red Post Hill estate, i think a lot of it is by youths passing through the area probably from Peckham and Camberwell. It seems however that not everyone is reporting these to the police so the actual numbers are unknown. If some scumbag wants to rob you of your belongings either resist as long as you are not harmed but if they are violent it would be best to give them what they are after, But make sure you report it too the police otherwise how else are they going to have a chance to catch the scum. Most of these robberies are committed by youths on bikes wearing hoods i would suggest if anyone see's any one matching this description and acting suspiciously then call the police or the local SNT. Do not be afraid to report it the police would probably welcome any info they can get, thats the main problem with society now is that people don't report things or help other people in incidents like muggings as they are afraid they would get hurt. I have got involved many a time to help people as i was raised by my parents to respect other people and stand up for what is right and denounce what is wrong and what i have noticed is that the majority of these robbers are gutless cowards who will run away if confronted, they are only brave if they are in a large gang catch them by themselves and they are pathetic little fools.
  19. Dear Gimme Community wardens are far from hopeless and i think there is more to your case than you are letting on, and they have a number of powers ,new ones include ones issued under the police reform act 2002 which means they can request names and addresses for acts of ASB, they can confiscate alcohol from underage drinkers, confiscate cigarettes from persons under 16, confiscate alcohol from person drinking in designated public place. As well as the old powers which enable them to fine people for littering and dog fouling under the Environmental Protection Act. They also have the power to enter and inspect any business within Southwark. I think in your case they have referred the fly tipping matter to Enforcement who are then supposed to take over the case and follow it so the wardens did exactly what they are supposed to do. You will find that wardens are quite adept at solving issues within the community so please don't write something misleading if you are not up to date with their powers and what they can actually do

  21. Just to let people know Community Wardens don't wear red day glo jackets, their uniform is either black jacket with red tabard ,black trousers and grey shirt similar to traffic wardens. Their bike uniform is yellow jacket with day glo stripes with Community Warden on front and back. Their work is primarily environmental however they have evolved into a organisation that deals with a whole host of matters including ASB, working with young people, cordon control at incidents, and now in the bonfire period are very busy dealing with fires and youths shooting off fireworks at each other and innocent passerbye's. Not a lot of people realise how much work they do and how effective they have become in dealing with issues, most of the press always attacks them and very rarely mentions any of the good work that they do.
